Day 52 – Kenpo X!

Well we realized right before we started that this is week 8.  Week 8 is a recovery week so we did Week 8 day 3 which is Kenpo X.  So we’re back on the wagon.

Day 51 – Sunday is a day of rest…That’s the ticket!

Of course we didn’t workout.  We were lazy and ineffective.  I’ve been a little off since the big training exercise we had at work.  I’ve got to get back in the game again.

Day 50 – No Motivation

We did not workout today because we were lazy.  We had a BBQ this afternoon and stayed much later than we planned because it was so much fun, but we should’ve workout this morning.  Oh well…

Day 48 – Michelle’s Appointment

Michelle had a doctor’s appointment this afternoon and was in a bit of pain so we decided to skip tonights P90X Workout.

Day 49 – I was supposed to have a gig

I was supposed to have a gig in Nuremberg, but it got canceled.  So, no gig and no workout.

Day 47 – Legs and Back, Ab Ripper X

May 13th, 2009

We decide to do Ab Ripper X first tonight, and it made for a great warm-up.  I’m not sure if that’s the reason, but tonights workout felt like cardio.  I was smoked.  I’m glad it’s over.  Right now I’m enjoying my P90X Results and Recovery Formula.  Speaking of which, I’m need to order some more tonight.  Signing off.

Day 46 – Move the girls to thier new room X.

We moved Abby and Gabby to their new room.  They did have  a bedroom and a separate playroom.  Since the playroom was about 3 times the size of their bedroom, we decided to move them into their playroom and get rid of many of the toys and junk they don’t play with anymore.  Anyway, that made for a long night and a good work out in and of itself so we didn’t do Yoga X.

Day 45 – The Half-way Point

We got back on the wagon today with Chest, Shoulders & Triceps.  We’re letting the last 4 days go, and we’re moving forward.  We’re halfway there.  We’re still eating right.  We’re starting with healthy choices 6 days a week.  We continue to pack lunches everyday, and we eat smaller portions more often.  We’re also continuing to drink lots of water.  Once again, tonight’s workout took me to muscle failure many times.  I don’t know why, but everytime I hit muscle failure while doing push-ups, it cracks me up.  It was funny to me when I was in the Army and it still makes me laugh.  I’m really not sure why.  I guess it’s just the sensation that my arms don’t work anymore or something.

Day 44 – …Maybe not

Michelle’s been sick for the last 4 days.  I’ve had minor hay fever type symptoms, but nothing serious.  We’ve both been pretty tired and grogy and extremely averse to exercise.  We’ll pick up again on Monday, and I’ll skip this weeks photos.

Day 43 – Can you say, “Unmotivated?”
